Gold for BISM at Costa Schools Athletics

A huge achievement for BISM Athletics as we officially won the Plate Competition in our very first year entering the Costa Schools Athletics events.

As a new school entering the competition, we were placed into the Plate category this season, and by winning it, BISM will now compete in the Cup competition next year against the top schools. An incredible achievement for our pupils and a brilliant sign of what’s to come.

What makes it even more impressive is that our athletes achieved podium finishes across the entire competition, not just within the Plate division, including first-place finishes across the following: Year 8 Girls 400m Winner, Year 8 Boys Triple Jump Winner, Year 8 Girls Javelin Winner, Year 8 Boys Javelin Winner, Year 10 Triple Jump Winner, and Year 7 Boys Long Jump Winner. Second place finishes across Year 7 Shot Put and Year 7 High Jump and a third place finish in Year 10 Boys 800m.
