Secondary Talent Show

The BISM Christmas season saw the celebration of the Secondary School Talent Show. The stage came alive with an array of performances, showcasing the talent, creativity, and confidence of our students.

The show kicked off in impressive style with Simon, who amazed the audience by solving two Rubik’s Cubes simultaneously in under a minute.

We were then treated to a beautiful piano and singing duet by Valentina and Alexandra, followed by another wonderful duet with Gretchen on piano and Alenka singing.

Next up was The Christmas Crew, who brought festive vibes to the stage. Nicole and Jackie led the singing, while Dominique and another dancer added energy and movement in the background.

One of the most unexpected and celebrated moments came when our presenter Melina returned to the stage alongside a surprise guest pianist — Mr Murdoch! The students’ cheers and applause showed just how much they loved seeing one of their teachers perform.

Luka then captivated the audience with a fantastic Michael Jackson piece on guitar, which included some staggering behind the back playing.

Reminding us that it was a talent show, not just a music and dance competition, the audience was treated to the impressive spectacle of Denys reciting the names of every single country in the world.

Barny followed with a powerful performance, combining guitar and vocals. As always, his ability to hit some incredibly challenging notes left the audience in awe.

The show concluded beautifully with a lyrical dance performance by Ysia. Her graceful, inspiring routine showcased an exceptional level of technical skill, clearly reflecting the dedication and hard work behind her performance.

Last but certainly not least, for the very first time ever, Dadmehr took to the stage—and what a discovery! The audience went absolutely wild with excitement. The cheerful atmosphere was incredible, and we’ve definitely found a new talent who is sure to shine in many more performances to come!

After much debate and deliberation, the judges crowned Ysia the winner for her outstanding performance!

The evening closed with a show of appreciation to Mr Chaveneau and Melina who hosted the competition and to the smartly turned out judges who also entertained with their insights and encouragement delivered with plenty of humour.
