Congratulations to our students who recently represented BISM at this year's debate competition hosted at Swans. Two teams competed across three preliminary rounds, performing impressively against strong opposition and finishing in 4th and 6th place overall. Our 4th-place team progressed to the semi-finals, where they faced a very strong Sotogrande team that ultimately went on to win the entire competition.
We would also like to recognise the valuable contribution of our three Year 12 students who supported the event by helping to judge debates throughout the day. Their involvement played an important role in ensuring the competition ran smoothly.
We are very proud of the confidence, critical thinking, and teamwork demonstrated by our students and how well they represented the school throughout the day.
