Ski trip

46 children from Key Stage 3 and 5 members of staff set off for an action packed few days in Sierra Nevada on Sunday 26th January! The sun was shining, the snow was perfect and great fun was had by all! Our Head Boy Lucas and Deputy head Girl Victoria will provide you with some of the highlights from the trip!

Hitting the slopes! - Lucas

The first day was an adaptation day and we got to test ourselves while also seeing how good other classmates were. There were a few amazing skiers and some less experienced ones who were trying skiing for the first time! By the end of the three days, everyone had learnt the basics; putting skis on, strapping your helmet on and how to get off the ski lift properly. Stronger skiers could be seen whizzing down the mountain at a good speed with very impressive turns. It was an amazing experience for us all.

Snow Park! - Victoria

After three whole days of ski, we had the opportunity to visit the snow park on the last day. We went on toboggans, snow bikes and even a snow slide! All in all it was really really fun. After, we went on a roller coaster where you can choose how fast you can go. This was really amazing and most of us went on this ride multiple times! We can´t wait to do another ski trip soon!
